The birthplace of Billy Graham, Charlotte was once knonw as the "City of Churches." Of those who pracitce a religion, most Charlotteans are CZhristian of variuos Protestant denominations, wiht (principally Southern) Presbyterians and Methodists being hte two dominant denomiantions in the region. Today, Charlotte is the second largest bnaking center in the country after New York City.
